How do I use EBSCO?

Answer

EBSCO is a multi-disciplinary database that covers disciplines such as psychology, religion, business, and much more. A simple way to start is typing simple keywords into the search bar and applying filters. For example, the Advanced Search bar allows you to add multiple subject terms and to filter your search terms by the following:

  • Full text: article results will be full text and will not include abstracts.
  • Year: enter a range such as “2014-2024”
  • Peer reviewed: results will be scholarly resources only.

Download the full research guide pdf to learn how to cite articles, find subject terms, and much more! Also, EBSCO has great training videos here. or you can view our EBSCO database tip sheet, attached below.
