What should I do if I lost my library book?

Answer

There is a replacement fee of $50 for all lost books. Or, if you prefer, we do permit you to purchase a replacement copy on your own. The book must be in good condition, as determined by library staff.  Good condition means that the binding is intact, there is no writing or highlighting in the book, and minimal wear. Finally, it must be the same or newer edition of the book.

Call us at 214-333-5320 if you have lost a book. We can help you select the correct book and give you additional information on how to bring your account current and avoid a cashier's hold on your university account.
